Starting on Tuesday 11th May, The Bereavement Journey is for anyone who has been bereaved, whether recently or in the distant past.
The course was developed at Holy Trinity Brompton and offers six filmed sessions which help to guide people through the most common aspects of grief, enabling them to process the implications for themselves and discern next steps.
When: Tuesdays, 7pm – over 6 weeks.
Where: online, over Zoom
Topics covered include:
Attachment, separation and loss
The impact and pain of bereavement
Adjusting to change
Anger and Guilt
Coping with others’ reactions
Moving forward healthily
And an optional sixth session on the Faith Perspective
The sessions are run weekly and are comprised of a film combined with an opportunity for discussion in a small group setting. Session 6 offers a Christian perspective to commonly asked faith questions in bereavement and is optional, thus making The Bereavement Journey suitable for people of any faith or none.
