We intentionally reduce our formal programme during August. We don’t meet for weekly worship at St Aidans on the Sundays of August, and regular midweek smallgroups plan more informal social gatherings (contact your housegroup leaders for info).
This is allows all of us the opportunity to take holidays or time to rest and recuperate, and to arrange more informal gatherings with friends and family, as well as building anticipation for when we gather together again in September.
We think it is wise to have a rhythm to life, with times of busyness followed by times of rest. Our aim is to run a good race, looking after ourselves for the long term life of the Kingdom (2 Cor. 1-18).
See you back at St Aidans, 10.30am on Sunday 3rd September!
